Sometimes I'd like to be crude because it's real

To whom it may concern,

Re: NRG Reference 427539

I have recently moved house and when I pick up my mail from my previous address I had letters from NRG asking for payment of $144.07 to vodafone. This is an error and I have never used the vodafone service. I had requested a sim card be sent to me to transfer over from my current mobile provider, however once I had activated the sim card I found that it did not work due to locking restrictions on my phone. Hence I did not make any calls, texts or use data. I did not use the sim card in any way. There were no upfront costs associated with being sent the sim card and I did not receive any bills from vodafone at any time. Hence, I do not owe any money to vodafone.

Can you please confirm with me once this outstanding balance has been erased from my name. I would also appreciate an apology from vodafone for the inconvenience this has caused me. It has been a drain on my time and an unnecessary waste of paper resources.

Yours Sincerely,

Emily Mara
